Privacy Policy

This is a convenience translation. In case of any discrepancy, the German version of this Privacy Policy shall prevail.

With the following information, we provide you with an overview of how we process your personal data and of your rights under data protection law. Personal data is any data that can be related to you personally, e.g. name or address.

Controller

The controller within the meaning of Art. 4(7) GDPR is:
Verner & Friends Marketing- und Vertriebsgesellschaft GmbH
Neubrücker Straße 87, D-13465 Berlin
Tel.: 030 / 50 01 21 24
E-mail: verner@verner-friends.de

Collection and Storage of Personal Data

The data we may collect from you includes in particular: name, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address and your enquiry. Which data is processed in each individual case depends largely on the services you use or request.

Your Rights

You have the following rights vis-à-vis us with regard to the personal data concerning you: the right of access, the right to rectification or erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to object to processing, and the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data. Automated decision-making, including profiling, does not take place.

SSL / TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in your browser's address bar. When encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Cookies

This website uses exclusively technically necessary cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses; they serve to make our offering more user-friendly and secure. Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide functions you have requested are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases or exclude them entirely. Your choice regarding cookies is stored locally in your browser.

Server Log Files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits to us automatically. These are: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. The basis for the data processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free provision of the service).

Contact Form and Contacting Us

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, by e-mail or by telephone, your details, including the contact data you provide, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent. Processing takes place on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or for the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time by informal notice via e-mail. The data remains with us until you request its erasure, withdraw your consent, or the purpose for its storage no longer applies; mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Fonts (Local Hosting)

For a consistent display of fonts, this website uses font files (web fonts) stored locally on our server. When a page is accessed, these are loaded from our own web space. No connection to third-party servers (such as Google) takes place in this regard; accordingly, no personal data is transmitted to third parties.

No Analytics or Tracking Services

This website does not use any web analytics or tracking services. In particular, Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA and Google Maps are not used. No personal data is transmitted to third parties for analytics or advertising purposes.

Right to Object and Right to Withdraw

You have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR. You also have the right to withdraw a consent you have given at any time; the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to the withdrawal remains unaffected. The withdrawal can be sent, without any formal requirements, with the subject line “Objection” and stating your contact details, to the address given above.
